Intent vs. Action

Intent is cheap until it produces action.
Most people live in the comfort of declared intentions. Plans are stated clearly. Goals are defined precisely. Timelines are discussed with confidence. The language of ambition is easy to produce and socially rewarded when spoken with conviction.
But intention without action changes nothing.
The gap between what people plan to do and what they actually do is where most outcomes are determined. Not in ideas. Not in strategy sessions. Not in the clarity of the goal itself. The outcome forms in the daily decision to act when the action is inconvenient, repetitive, or unimpressive.
Intent announces direction. Action creates movement.
